This book is good for the young and old alike. The authors of this book have clearly done their ftoud into the fey world, and their research into the myths of the Celts and Norse as well as classical Greco-Roman mythology concerning these creatures is of the kind that clearly enriches the writing of fantasy writers like J.

Brian Froud is an award-winning illustrator, author, and faery authority. This world hidden from humans is not all nice and dandy, almost a direct contrast to Disney’s fairies.

I love the art of Brian Froud, he’s one of my favourite artists, and his wife, Wendy, well She was an artist and very talented. The latest reprint from publisher Abrams is a hardcover deluxe collector’s edition with some new content. That said, there are a lot of other hands to deal with, including the fact that the authors take the legends and debunked aspects of faerie all too seriously .
Want to Read Currently Reading Read. This book both enchanted and terrified me. I think I skimmed this book more than read it when my sister gave it to me when I was a kid, but the illustrations were terrific and I copied a lot of them in the afternoons after school when I first started to draw.
