The authors of this book have clearly done their ftoud into the fey world, and their research into the myths of the Celts and Norse as well as classical Greco-Roman mythology concerning these creatures is of the kind that clearly enriches the writing of fantasy writers like J.

That said, there are a lot of other hands to deal with, including the fact that the authors take the legends and debunked aspects of faerie all too seriously [1].


Want to Read Currently Reading Read. This book both enchanted and terrified me. I think I skimmed this book more than read it when my sister gave it to me when I was a kid, but the illustrations were terrific and I copied a lot of them in the afternoons after school when I first started to draw.
