Rather than buying it for twice the price at our school bookstore, I saved a lot of money and just ordered it from Amazon, and it was well worth the wait for shipping not that the shipping took an especially long time.

Most of the essential readings. Share your thoughts with other customers. Considering how accessable and small and how much more I could get from this book, I will be looking to this book for years to come, although once you find something interesting you had best go find out where the exerpt is from in case it is not the complete picture they chose which parts of the writings to give you, which I value highly, but it means you should not think you can speak for Nietzsche or Kierkegaard by this text alone.

Jonathan Webber – – In John Skorupski ed. I never read much of the other sections, but the book has been invaluable to me for the introductions and any part of the Nietsche in this text alone.

Without shortening any of the selections offered in the first edition, the second edition adds valuable context by presenting two additional selections by philosophers who had a profound impact on the development of existentialism: This book is not a long-term investment.

It’s the bare essentials which is not particularly favorable if you plan to permanently study this philosophy; all you’re provided is basic concepts from selected passages which, at best, allow you to write about basic concepts in essays but rarely anything deeper without seeking out further information.
